With construction of Fraser Park Sports & Community Hub commencing, more of the business community are seeing what a fantastic opportunity for the community it is.
Fraser Park Sports & Community Hub, when completed in 2018, will be a modern facility and one of the biggest sporting hubs in the country. The future home of Avalon Rugby, Fraser Park Squash, Hutt Valley Dodgers Softball, Lower Hutt City AFC, Mitchell Park Squash, Naenae Hockey, Taita Cricket, Hutt Valley Softball Association and the Wellington Regional Hockey Stadium Trust will benefit everyone in the region.
The newest gold sponsor, Titan Cranes has strong ties to the Hutt Valley. A real family busines, it began in the Hutt Valley more than 50 years ago - with the head office and Wellington branch based at Seavies. The business has expanded during the last 50 years and now has branches in New Plymouth, Christchurch and Dunedin.
Titan Groups Managing Director, Jan Coton, says that Fraser Park gives their team a wonderful way to give back to the community. "Our team's children and grandchildren have all played sport in the region and so supporting Fraser Park Sportsville is a perfect fit."
CFT Chair, Kirsten Patterson is delighted that Titan Cranes has agreed to be a gold sponsor of Fraser Park Sportsville. Kirsten hopes other Lower Hutt companies will join the family of sponsors including Kadima Furtniture, Gee & Hickton and Woolyarns.
Total fundraising has now reached $12.16 million but with $940,000 more required for the project to be completed, there is still a lot of work to do.
Sponsorship opportunities are still available. If you are interested or know somebody who would like to be involved, please contact the Community Facilities Trust - email@example.com
